Arcadia Residences stands on Soi Ruam Rudi, the lane that runs south off Ploenchit between Wireless Road and Sukhumvit. It is one of the quietest addresses in central Bangkok, and the reason is historical: Ruam Rudi has been an embassy and mission street for decades, so the plots are large, the setbacks are deep, and the buildings never reached the height of the towers on the roads either side.
The neighbours are almost all residential — Noble 09 Ruamrudee and Ploenruedee Residence around 50 metres, Athenee Residence about 100, Chateau de Bangkok around 150 — with 66 other addresses we collect from inside a 500-metre walk, which is one of the denser residential clusters in the zone.
BTS Phloen Chit is roughly 300 metres away. From there Central Embassy and Central Chidlom are a few minutes on the skywalk, the Ratchaprasong network carries on to Gaysorn and CentralWorld without crossing a road, and Asok with its MRT interchange is two stops east. Lumphini Park is a short ride south, and Wireless Road — walled, green and full of embassies — runs parallel one block west.
A residence here is taken by the month, usually by people working in the embassies and offices nearby.
