Being on Soi 15 rather than on Sukhumvit itself is the point. The soi is residential and quiet, lined with apartment blocks and small restaurants, and yet BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit are a short walk south — the busiest interchange in the city, with Terminal 21 at the corner.
Mövenpick keeps its Swiss habits: the chocolate hour in the afternoon is a fixture, and the breakfast is better than the category usually delivers. Rooms are contemporary and generously sized for this price point, with the higher floors looking across the sois toward Benchakitti Park.
From here, Emporium and EmQuartier are one BTS stop east, Central Embassy and the Ratchaprasong malls two or three stops west, and the lower Sukhumvit street food starts at the mouth of the soi.
