Maduzi Hotel is a 40-room boutique property overlooking the Asoke intersection, and it does something almost no other hotel in Bangkok does: it refuses walk-ins entirely. Rooms are by reservation only, there is no passing trade in the lobby, and the result is a building that feels closer to a private house than a hotel — which is precisely what its guests come back for.
The design mixes Thai and international elements, reflecting the owner's own background, and the rooms are fitted more like apartments than hotel rooms: walk-in closets, whirlpool baths, espresso machines, leather reading chairs and a proper work area. Tea, coffee and cocktails at the bar are included rather than charged.
The position is central without being loud. BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit are about five minutes on foot, Terminal 21 is at the intersection, and the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre and Benchakitti Park are a short walk south — the forest park and lake that give this part of Sukhumvit its running route.
A forty-room hotel does not run an industrial laundry, and guests here tend to stay several nights.
