The brand's signature is loft proportions rather than square metres: nine-foot ceilings and full-height windows, so a room reads as much larger than its floor plan, with the concrete-and-steel finish left deliberately unpolished.
The building is arranged around two social floors. W XYZ Bar sits above the lobby with live music most evenings and draws people who are not staying there; Splash, the outdoor pool, is on the tenth floor with its own bar and a view over the Sukhumvit sois, and re:charge, the gym, is open around the clock on the same level. Crave handles the restaurant side and re:fuel the twenty-four-hour snacks.
Soi 11 is the reason most guests pick this end of Sukhumvit. It is the busiest nightlife lane on the lower stretch, packed with bars, restaurants and clubs, and BTS Nana is at the mouth of it, a few minutes' walk. From there Asok, Terminal 21 and the MRT interchange are one stop east, and Ploenchit, Central Embassy and the Ratchaprasong malls one or two stops west.
Guests here skew younger and stay several nights, out most evenings.
