ABOUT THIS STAY
137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok
137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok is a hotel in the Sukhumvit–Asok–Nana area of Bangkok. It is in Vadhana, Bangkok 10110. BTS Phrom Phong is a short ride away. It sits about 1.3 km from the Asok branch that runs this area, with 13 other addresses we collect from inside a 500 m walk. The nearest address we already collect from is Baan Jamjuree, about 50 m away.
137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok has a front desk, so the usual arrangement is the simplest one: leave the bag with the concierge on your way out and it is back at the same desk when you return. Wash & Fold comes back folded flat and packed for a suitcase; Wash & Iron comes back pressed and on hangers. Next day is standard, and same day is available when the booking is confirmed before 2pm.
The building sits in Vadhana. BTS Phrom Phong is a short ride from the door (848 m) and MRT Sukhumvit is about 1230 m, so guests here have two lines within walking distance. That matters less for laundry than for the rest of the day — our driver comes by road either way, at a time you pick.
137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok is not a one-off stop for us: on the same round we also collect at Baan Jamjuree (50 m), Orchid View (150 m) and TRIBE Living Bangkok Sukhumvit 39 by AccorHotels (150 m). A van that is already on this street is the reason a same-day return is realistic here when the booking is confirmed before 2pm.
More about this place to stay
137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok sits at 59/1 Soi Sukhumvit 39, and the hotel occupies only the uppermost levels of the building — 34 suites, every one with a marble bathroom and either full-height glass or a balcony over the city. At that number it is one of the smallest five-star operations in Bangkok, run closer to a private club than a hotel, with personal service arranged per suite rather than per department.
The name comes from the group's original property in Chiang Mai, a nineteenth-century teak house built on 137 pillars that belonged to the Borneo Company's East Borneo trading operation. The Bangkok building borrows the story rather than the architecture: colonial-era references in the interiors, a rooftop pool, and a bar built around the same period.
Soi 39 is one of the better addresses on this stretch of Sukhumvit. It runs north from Phrom Phong past residential compounds, embassies and a run of restaurants toward Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, and it is quiet in a way the sois closer to Asok are not. BTS Phrom Phong is a short walk, with Emporium, EmQuartier and EmSphere at the station and Benchasiri Park across the road.
Guests at 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok can use GO Laundry PX's laundry delivery service from the building. We collect at reception or from you, wash each order on its own so it never shares a machine with anyone else's, and return it to the same address — folded flat for packing, or pressed and returned on hangers. Next day is standard; same day is confirmed at booking before 2pm.
