The pool deck gives a full 360-degree view of the city, with the King Power Mahanakhon tower and its pixellated silhouette standing directly in the sightline — the best free view of that building anywhere in Silom.
The hotel is a quietly capable city property rather than a grand one: soundproofed rooms with work desks and city views, a fitness centre, and Element as the all-day restaurant, which cooks Thai classics reworked alongside Western dishes.
Surawong runs parallel to Silom one street north, in the middle of the business district, and the neighbourhood does a lot of the work. BTS Sala Daeng and MRT Si Lom are a walk away, putting Siam three stops one direction and Sukhumvit a short ride the other. Patpong's night market is immediately nearby, Silom's food stalls run the length of the road, and the Chao Phraya, BTS Saphan Taksin and the express boats are about ten minutes west. Lumphini Park closes the eastern end.
