The accommodation runs from one-bedroom studios to two-bedroom suites: timber floors, king beds, marble bathrooms with tubs and rain showers, and a 1920s note in the decoration. The larger suites are effectively apartments, with full kitchens and furnished terraces.
The eleventh floor holds two infinity-edge pools set in planting, with a pool bar and a Mediterranean restaurant beside them. Elsewhere in the building are a cafe and bakery, a fitness centre, a spa suite and a speakeasy-style cocktail bar.
The hotel connects to Eight Thonglor, the retail block next door, and runs a shuttle to BTS Thong Lo. That station is the reason to be here: Thong Lo runs two kilometres north from Sukhumvit and holds the densest concentration of independent restaurants, bars, galleries and design shops in Bangkok, along with the izakaya and ramen counters that serve the Japanese community.
Phrom Phong and the Em District are one BTS stop west; Ekkamai is one stop east.
