Medinii Panorama on the 35th serves Asian-Italian cooking and took the World Luxury Restaurant Award for best Italian in Asia in 2016; H2O, the outdoor pool, sits two floors above it on the 37th, which puts a swim roughly 120 metres over Sukhumvit.
Rooms are fitted more generously than the room count suggests: large 4K televisions with streaming, proper minibars, and enough desk space to work from. There is a spa and a gym on the podium.
The address is the practical centre of modern Bangkok. Terminal 21 is at the intersection, Soi Cowboy immediately behind, Benchakitti Park and its lake a short walk south, and the Em District one BTS stop east. Central Embassy and the Ratchaprasong malls are three stops west.
